There is a myth, so I have heard, where the Heron and the Hummingbird had a bit of a challenge over rights to fish persay. The Heron won out, and the Hummingbird sips nectar. Was there ever a challenge? Could it be that even things that seem quite obvious actually have some sort of deliberation behind them? Hmm Hmmm.
An original pen and watercolor illustration on Arches hot press paper (smooth)
It has a little bit of my lovely watercolor mess on it. Originals are sealed with a fixative to preserve the illustration.
