Private Residence Mural
Before and After
Client opted to prep the surface and prime.
Mock-up of design
First I use chalk to draw the design on the wall. As the mural was coming to life, we opted for some changes in flowers (to have more familial meaning), adding a turtle, and changing the fish surrounds. This painting was one in 3 visits to the property during the summer.
The Genny
Free Flow
This mural can be found on the wonderful General Store in Copper Harbor, MI - affectionately called ‘the Genny’. It was such an honor to be trusted to paint this iconic place. The owner’s dog, Fern, forever greets at the Genny’s doors.
I seal outdoor murals with Mural Shield and it provides excellent results. A few years later and this mural is still shining!
Words to Live & Bike By
Marquette’s Public Art Commission funded murals to be placed along a bike path in Marquette, MI. I chose the word ‘Play’.
For those whose words were chosen, it was a timed volunteer experience.
