Superior seems a bit demure today, surrounded in dappled pinks and oranges - the best pastels the great white north can muster. Superior allows herself to be seen, makes an appearance so that one might have a chance sighting of her in the heavy basalt. And of the the sturgeon, as big as a man? What about Mishu Peshu, the water panther, emerging from the depths to strut across the pebbled sands?
